Snorkeling for Families introduces individuals and families to the recreation of exploring underwater magic from  above. Because there is no age requirement for snorkeling, it is an activity that can be shared by the whole family.

 

Open Water Diver

The SEI Diving Open Water Diver course is for individuals ages 12 and older.  Learning to scuba dive is safe and affordable, and requires a modest amount of training.  In order to earn a scuba certification, you will participate in classroom sessions, practice essential diving skills in a pool and experience several open water dives.  Divers between 12 - 15 years of age will be certified as Junior Open Water Divers.

 

Open Water Plus Diver

SEI Diving's Open Water Diver course is designed to give certified scuba divers two additional open water dives. This guided experience is important for new divers who want more training before going out and diving without supervision.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The SEI Advanced Open Water Diver course is for divers who want to expand their knowledge and diving experience to include a variety of diving environments. The course provides an introduction to specialty diving, and features five open water dives, including a night dive.

 

Advanced Plus Open Water Diver

This course includes additional classroom training and adds ten additional dives to the diver's experience. Open water diving is the primary objective of this course with classroom training designed to augment the knowledge presented to Open Water divers.

 

 

Master Scuba Diver

This course and certification is the highest and most prestigious non-leadership rating that may be attained by an SEI Diving diver. It is considered the supreme standard of diving excellence and recognition of expert training. This course of instruction is often offered to students over a period of time rather than in a formal class environment. In this way, students can build knowledge and skills while meeting all the completion requirements including other specialty courses.

Specialty Courses

Scuba diving is a very rewarding activity. Numerous hobbies are integrated into the underwater environment. Our specialty courses permit the diver to gain comprehensive abilities in virtually any field of aquatic endeavor. Please be aware, some instructors may not have the credentials to teach every specialty.

Leadership Courses  /  리더쉽 코스(한글)

If you are interested in a leadership role in scuba diving, whether helping new scuba students practice or teaching new scuba instructors, then one of the following courses is for you.  Each level has certain mandatory prerequisites to participate in the course and specific skills required to pass the course.

Divemaster

Entry level leadership course - learn to assist a scuba instructor in the classroom or pool or become trained to work on a dive boat leading scuba diving tours and expeditions.

This next level of leadership will require more contribution, assistance and training in both the classroom and pool settings while working under the direction of a certified scuba Instructor.  

Instructor

An instructor is able to teach others to become Divemasters or Assistant Instructors.  And in addition to teaching all levels of Open Water courses, Instructors, if specifically certified, can teach specialty courses such as Nitrox, wreck diving, or diver rescue and accident management. 

Instructor Trainer 

Instructor Trainers are able to teach all that Instructors can teach with the addition of teaching and training new scuba Instructors.

 


 Leadership Crossover 

Individuals that are interested in switching to our program, who have been certified and trained through other scuba agencies, can do so through a crossover.
